Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be inserted into armor, weapons or trinkets to offer an additional benefit. They tend to be more expensive and require that the item is of an appropriate rank.
Upgrades are not usually worth it for items with high demands. This is particularly true for items that don't roll a lot of variance like Eth titans.
Glyphs
After level 50 in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action-RPG takes a turn from its simplified campaign into the final phase. After level 50, Diablo 4's action-RPG moves from its simple campaign to the final.

Glyphs play a crucial part in this process. Glyphs' stat attributes and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a handful of ways to gain these upgrades, but most players will be relying on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel allows you to add glyphs to your text by selecting the appropriate option from the menu on the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font in which the cursor is placed however, you can also view another font or type style, and narrow the list of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting one of the options below Entire Font (for instance Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). When you hover your mouse over the glyph, you will find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
Once you've inserted several glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 glyphs you've used and make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking it using the right-click or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another feature of the Glyphs panel is that it allows you to create and edit the glyph set you want to use, which is useful when you need to type certain types of text often. This will prevent you from having to manually insert every glyph whenever you need it.
A custom glyph set may include a maximum of 31 glyphs that include both the base name and its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and various other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternates, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into a single visually unified character.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that offers benefits on items, such as additional stats. These upgrades come in several different types: reroll, level up and recycle. Each kind of upgrade comes with its own set extra bonuses for an item.
Reroll Tokens can be used to alter the item's base stats and upgrade numbers. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than a player desires, or if the item's current substats aren't ideal.
A reroll costs 1 token and will reset all upgrades to an item however it will keep the set, rarity and level of the item. As an item is progressively leveled up, its tier will increase. The main stat of the item is increased by 3 points for each tier. A random extra stat is also boosted with it. Leveling an item to its highest possible level increases its rank by 1.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened by using Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each category of upgradeable item having different icons:
Choosing a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain appliances or ingredients that are required for some recipes. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning that they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a greater chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will be for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic happens. When you recycle a product made of recycled materials, you're not just creating a better environment, but you are also giving that item a new life. Most recycled items are returned to the manufacturer from which they came to be remanufactured as an entirely new item. We refer to this as "closing of the recycling loop."
If someone places something in their curbside recycling bin it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it can be sold on to manufacturers who will then re-make the product. Items that are typically remade into new products include:
This reduces the need to grow harvest or extract raw materials from the Earth to create something new. This reduces the damage caused to the environment; less trees are cut down, rivers are diverted, and wild animals are forced to move. improve gear reduces the amount of pollution caused by dumping substances into our soil, water and the air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs alive, especially for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is because demand for such products helps encourage companies to participate in this environmentally friendly initiative.
The final reason to purchase recycled items is that they require less energy to make new products from recycled materials than it does to create them out of raw materials. The manufacturing process for an aluminum container that is new requires 95% more power than the manufacturing of an aluminum can made from recycled materials. This is why every bit counts.
Leveling
The majority of units can level-up, giving them extra XP every time they attack or get attacked. This XP can be used to increase their primary stat, or unlock other upgrades on the unit's development tree. Weapons are an excellent example of this, as they improve their level and increase their damage as well as range.
Most leveling systems have an arbitrary amount of levels to be achieved, but this can differ from game to game. Spending coins or materials is the only method to level up. Most systems use both, but some only employ one.
Leveling is a major issue in many games because it makes certain units too powerful, while other units aren't able be competitive with them. It is better to limit the amount of leveling that a player can perform, requiring them to make a choice regarding what they would like to upgrade and the reasons behind it.
